Since meeting the cast of ‘Twilight,’ some fans needed medical help.

While Twilight mania isn’t as strong as it once was, it’s difficult to forget the fervor that engulfed the iconic film series. Despite the fact that the films already had a sizable fan base, thanks to Stephenie Meyer’s eponymous books, the films gained even more devoted followers. And audiences weren’t only enamored with the films’ fictional characters; they were also completely enamored with the actors who played them.

Of course, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner all had to deal with the wrath of adoring fans. The three actors, who played Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, were considered the franchise’s main stars, and their characters formed the notorious love triangle. Surprisingly, none of the actors were aware of the extent of the fandom when they signed on for the first film. Indeed, it wasn’t until they were promoting Twilight at Comic-Con that they realized how intimidating “Twihards” could be.

Taylor Lautner opened up about the fervor with which ‘Twilight’ fans follow the series.

The Twilight cast was not shy about expressing how overwhelming fan experiences can be. Lautner was candid about the hit franchise’s fans in a 2009 interview with Interview Magazine. He shared, “They’re very serious, but it’s great that they’re so devoted and passionate.” “They’re the reason we’re doing this sequel in the first place. As a result, I’m grateful for the support. I enjoy meeting new people. They are, however, very intense. It can get a bit confusing at times.”

In the first draft of ‘Twilight,’ one important character was killed off.

But the Twilight cast wasn’t the only ones who had intense fan experiences. Lautner also admitted that meeting the actors who played their favorite characters can often leave fans feeling totally overwhelmed. In reality, a handful of fans had visceral reactions when they met the cast… This is a condensed version of the plot. I hope you found it entertaining.
