Originally, Loki was supposed to die in ‘Thor: The Dark World,’ but Marvel’s plans were thwarted by a major development.
Loki is one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most lasting characters. The God of Mischief, played by Tom Hiddleston, has appeared in Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, and now gets his own Disney+ series launching on June 9th.
Despite the fact that Loki has appeared in almost every Marvel film, he wasn’t expected to make it through Thor: The Dark World. However, after receiving important information, Marvel’s producers alter their minds regarding Loki’s fate.
Tom Hiddleston was taken aback. The producers of Marvel’s film Loki had great ambitions for him.
Originally thinking Loki’s story ended with “Thor: The Dark World,” Tom Hiddleston became emotional during the “Infinity War” death scene.
Hiddleston has been in more Marvel films than almost any other actor, but he insists he had no idea he’d become a regular in the MCU. He confesses to being astonished and pleased when Marvel execs told him he’d been added to the Avengers ensemble before Thor had even begun filming in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“I was like, ‘Excuse me?'” she says. Because [Kevin Feige] was three, four steps ahead,” Hiddleston explained. “It took me a few minutes to understand that since I didn’t think it had a scope all of a sudden. And I understood that getting cast as Loki had been and would continue to be a pivotal point in my life. It was going to be such an exciting creative journey.”
In ‘Thor: The Dark World,’ Loki was intended to be killed off, but things changed.
Loki became one of the most popular characters among Marvel fans after the release of Avengers. Despite his popularity among fans, Marvel Studios planned to kill Loki dead in Thor: Ragnarok in 2013. This is a condensed version of the narrative. I hope you found it entertaining.
