Million Dollar listing New York’s newest realtor Kirsten Jordan may not know exactly what’s in her high-energy “Junk Juice,” but she has revealed what it tastes like.
In the season 9 premiere, Jordan is seen gulping down what almost looks like a blood bag. She shudders after drinking the concoction, but insists that it gives her endless energy. Viewers got to see her vitality in the first episode as she juggled the demands of real estate with motherhood. Jordan spoke with us about Junk Juice and her participation on the show.
Jam Junk Juice is Kirsten Jordan’s jam.
While Jordan revealed that Junk Juice is not her own concoction, it is made by her acupuncturist. “Only my acupuncturist really knows what’s in my Junk Juice,” she joked. “It tastes a little like dirt and licorice! I swear it’s my secret sauce.” Indeed it is, as Jordan is seen almost constantly moving around on the show.
The first episode also featured Jordan showing off her speed walking style. She was a champion speed walker and was featured in the New York Times for her accomplishments. When she was in high school, Jordan explained how she managed to dominate back-to-back races. “I’m one of those people who bounces back quickly,” she recounted, “so I thought I’d give it a shot. But the state meet was my big goal to win since I started racewalking in ninth grade.”

‘Million Dollar listing New York’: Fredrik Eklund says ‘competitors’ are trying to ‘steal’ his NYC business in Season 9
She didn’t have her “secret sauce” when she was in high school, but she used a different recovery formula back then. Jordan wanted to enter a race, but was sick and had a sore throat. So she took “vitamin C pills, some echinacea tablets and two glasses of cold water” along with a dose of her brother’s antibiotic. She went to bed early and raced the next day.
Cherry Jordan applies her racing courage to her work as a real estate agent
She clearly applies her “can do” attitude from her time as a champion racer to her work as a luxury realtor at Million Dollar listing. But she admitted she was both excited and nervous to join the cast.
“It feels great and scary at the same time,” she said. “This season spans almost a year and a half, so it has to keep up with the excitement!” Being a new cast member can be nerve-wracking, but Jordan is also the first woman on the New York show.

‘Million Dollar listing’: from L.A. to New York, which broker will have the highest net worth in 2021?
She turned to Tracy Tutor of Million Dollar listing Los Angles, the first woman to participate in the series. “Of course, I connected with Tracy – she was extremely generous in providing her advice,” Jordan said. “Most of her wisdom can be summed up in her book, which I’ve also read. She’s like having an LA sister bravolebrity (if there is such a thing?).”
And although she was a little nervous about being on the show, she knew at least one of the cast members before the cameras rolled. “I was friends with Ryan [Serhant] before the show and got to know Tyler [Whitman] and Steve [Gold] very well! Fredrik [Eklund] and I became friends over my move to Douglas Elliman. We are a dysfunctional family.”
Million Dollar listing New York airs Thursday at 9-8 p.m. on Bravo.
