Michael B. Jordan Tried Out for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ and It Went Bad – ‘That Was My Worst’
In recent years, Michael B. Jordan has become one of Hollywood’s most popular performers. The hero of Without Remorse has appeared in a number of commercially successful films, like Black Panther and Creed, but that doesn’t mean he’s entitled to any part he wants.
He did, in fact, have to audition for a job in Star Wars: The Force Awakens a few years ago, and it did not go well. Jordan claims he was unable to get into character during the audition, which he claims was the worst of his career.
For ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ Michael B. Jordan had the worst audition of his career.
Michael B. Jordan was heartbroken when he was passed over for a role that eventually went to Bow Wow.
During a recent interview with Variety, Jordan reflected on the disaster of an audition.
Jordan added, “I think it was probably the Star Wars audition that I had with J.J.” “That was perhaps my worst audition to date,” she says. It’s just… Jordan admitted, “It wasn’t my finest.” “It was definitely the worst of my life. To date, it was most likely my one that I recall.
He struggled to immerse himself in the role he was auditioning for.
Jordan’s audition was difficult because he had very little information about the film or the role. Massive series like Star Wars and Marvel are notorious for keeping development secrets, and they frequently refuse to inform performers what they’re auditioning for.
Jordan explained, “I couldn’t wrap my head around some of the sides.” “Because you know when you’re reading for these high-level projects, there’s never really any specificity in the sides. Everything is a little hazy; everything is kept hidden. I couldn’t make the connection as I read through. I absolutely blew it on that one.”
Jordan added that the audition went so poorly that he left the studio as quickly as he could.
“Oh,… This is a condensed version of the narrative. I hope you found it entertaining.
