Michael B. Jordan, the star of the film “Black Panther,” worked for his parents’ catering company long before he became famous.
Michael B. Jordan has been one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors in recent years. Jordan’s rise has been fuelled by successful films such as Black Panther and Fruitvale Station, but he is best known for his role in the Creed sports drama franchise.
Jordan has been acting since he was a teenager, with early credits on shows including Hardball and HBO’s The Wire. He was helping his parents run a catering company before he even stepped in front of the camera.
Since then, the star of Just Mercy has decided to start serving his own home-cooked meals.
When Michael B. Jordan was younger, he worked for his parents’ catering business.
Michael B. Jordan’s mother was fed up with seeing him die in his roles — “She’d just weep”
During a recent interview with Ellen Degeneres, Jordan revealed some information about his parents’ old catering company. Jordan claims that he began working for his parents when he was a small child.
“When I was growing up, my mom and dad had a home-catering business,” Jordan explained. “So they put me to work as soon as I was old enough to see over the counter, just prepping and helping and stuff like that.”
During his quarantine, he began delivering pasta to his neighbors.
Jordan was one of the billions of people who had to find ways to keep themselves occupied at home when the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic first broke out in 2020. He learned how to make a variety of new foods after deciding to return to his roots.
“While I was at home, I learned to make a lot of pasta dishes—carbs again. So, because I couldn’t see them too much, my boy Bryce and I would make all of these fresh pestos and carbonaras late at night.”
Jordan would drop off the pasta at his parents’ house after he finished cooking for them to enjoy.
