Jennifer Lopez thinks Ben Affleck’s back tattoo is a good idea, and Jennifer Garner agrees.

After the paparazzi captured a photo of Ben Affleck’s notorious back tattoo in 2015, the world got its first view of the vivid tattoos.

Many people have expressed their displeasure with the permanent art since then. Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner, Affleck’s ex-wives, aren’t lovers of the tattoo, having previously expressed similar feelings about the actor’s choice of ink.

Following his breakup from Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck got a back tattoo.

In July 2015, photographs of Affleck sporting a fresh back tattoo made the rounds on the internet, causing quite a stir.

The photos surfaced just days after his divorce from Jennifer Garner was finalized. He was photographed as he stepped out of a car, showing his new tattoo. Though just the lower part of the tattoo was visible at the time, the actor later revealed the tattoo in all of its glory.

In December 2015, Affleck was spotted wandering around with his back out on the set of a film. His tattoo of a phoenix rising from what looks to be the ashes of a fire can plainly be seen in the photographs.

Though the tattoo made the entire world gasp, everyone soon sighed a sigh of relief when Affleck told Extra’s Mario Lopez that the tattoo was “fake” during the marketing for the Batman v Superman film in 2016.

Many people initially trusted the actor because he frequently takes on cinematic roles. People were skeptical when the “movie” never materialized, prompting the Pearl Harbor actor to ultimately admit to his permanent ink.

In February 2020, Affleck told The New York Times about the initial images of his multicolored back ink, saying, “I disliked that somebody got a photograph of it by spying on me.” “It was intrusive. However, you are correct. I could have said, ‘That’s none of your business.’ I guess it was fun fiddling about with Extra. ‘Is your tattoo real or not real?’ Of course it is… This is a condensed version of the narrative. I hope you found it entertaining.
