Season 6 spoilers may be found below.
The Christie family appears in Book 5 of the ‘Outlander’ series.
The Christie Family comes at Fraser’s Ridge in Gabaldon’s Outlander novels during book five, The Fiery Cross. However, the Starz drama has postponed their appearance until the next season.
Father Tom (Mark Lewis Jones), son Allan (Alexander Vlahos), and daughter Malva make up the Christie family (Jessica Reynolds). They arrive at Fraser’s Ridge because Jamie (Sam Heughan) has offered to assist the old Ardsmuir inmates.
The family appears to be a welcome addition to Fraser’s Ridge at first. When Malva bonds with Claire (Caitriona Balfe), she is able to bond with Jamie as well. “I think when she goes to the ridge, she’s kind of in awe of Claire because she’s heard so much about Jamie and she expects him to be the hero of her narrative and then she sees, then she sees the woman and she’s like, ‘Oh no, I’m more interested in that,’” Reynolds said in a video released on the Outlander Instagram page.
“An apprentice position is available, and I slip in.”
Is Jamie still having an affair with Claire in season 6?
Claire gives Malva some sex advise from the twentieth century in Outlander book six. She reminds her that women have sex for the enjoyment of it, not because it is expected of them by their spouses. When Malva becomes pregnant later, she believes Jamie is the father.
“We sort of… This is a condensed version of the narrative. I hope you found it entertaining.
