Who is Terry Chen from ‘A Million Little Things’?

Terry Chen first featured as Alan in Season 3 Episode 5 of A Million Little Things, “Non-Essential.” Regina Howard (Christina Moses) received a letter from him accusing her of illegally subletting her upstairs restaurant space to Katherine. He was working at Saunders & Payne, a large law company at the time. Carter French (Sam Pancake) never mailed the letter informing their landlord of the sublet, therefore Regina and Katherine were in violation of their lease.

Thankfully, Alan was the last person to talk with Jon Dixon (Ron Livingston) before he committed suicide. Alan told Katherine that he had given the phone call a lot of thought, and he couldn’t allow the landlord remove the women. Chen has appeared in multiple episodes of A Million Little Things since then, gradually coming to know Katherine. During the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, she first called him for help on a virtual deposition, and then they started trading hand sanitizer for eggs.
