Has Dr. Lim found love on ‘The Good Doctor’?
Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) from The Good Doctor got an unexpected surprise when she travelled to Guatemala to help people in need. She not only assisted with surgery, but she also met Dr. Mateo Rendon Osma, a new love interest. Is it possible that this will develop into a serious relationship?
On ‘The Good Doctor,’ Lim explores a relationship with Dr. Mateo.
After meeting Dr. Mateo, Lim reopens her heart. She wasn’t aiming to develop a relationship at initially. Mateo, on the other hand, piqued her interest over time. Things between them began to shift after their passionate night.
Mateo claims in The Good Doctor Season 4 Episode 20 (named “Vamos”) that he thought their relationship would be a fling. Lim, on the other hand, continues to inquire into his personal life. She wants to learn more about him. Rather, he inquires about her and what she is concealing. He inquired as to why she feels obligated to go for a run first thing in the morning and why she has so many alarm clocks going off. She initially disregarded him when he asked about her habits, but she eventually decided to tell him about her experiences.
Mateo learns about Lim’s PTSD diagnosis. She also discusses the loss of Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) and how difficult it was to deal after so many patients succumbed to COVID-19. Mateo resisted responding to Lim’s questions since he didn’t want to become too involved. His apprehension about being vulnerable with Lim, though, fades over time. He tells her about his run-in with the law and how he came to the decision to stay in Guatemala. Years ago, he was detained for marijuana possession and fought with the officers.
“I got into an argument with them, and it got physical,” Mateo adds. “When my court day arrived, I didn’t show up. In addition, there is an active warrant for my arrest in the United States. That’s why I haven’t returned.”
… This is a condensed version of the narrative. I hope you found it entertaining.
