Episode 9 of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ is about love, according to Elisabeth Moss.
The Handmaid’s Tale season 4 episode 9, “Progress,” will broadcast on Hulu on June 9. The episode was directed by Elisabeth Moss, who plays June Osborne in the show. The love triangle between June, Nick Blaine (Max Minghella), and Luke Bankole (O-T Fagbenle) will be thrust to the forefront, according to a Hulu teaser for “Progress.” Moss said that The Handmaid’s Tale episode will be about “love” in an interview with Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast.
Three episodes of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ were directed by Elisabeth Moss.
Moss made her directorial debut in season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale, directing the third episode, “The Crossing,” episode 8, “Testimony,” and the season’s ninth episode, “Progress.” Moss discussed June’s mentality now that the character has arrived in Canada on the Awards Circuit podcast.
“How are you ever going to be normal again?” How do you ever engage with people the way you used to? I think she’s just trying to keep it down, bury it, keep a lid on it, and I’m not sure if she’ll be able to, or if you want her to,” Moss added.
June gave her to some of her wrath in the episode “Testimony,” and Moss believes she’ll be seeking for additional ways to fight against Gilead in Canada.
“That’s how I feel, and it’s how June feels in [‘Testimony,’] when she says, ‘Really?’ On the podcast, she asked, ‘Is this what we’re doing?’ “Will what they’re doing, and the opposition movement in Canada, actually accomplish anything? June is confronted with this dilemma.”
Sam Jaeger teases that Mark Tuello may turn to the “dark side” in “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
The ninth episode of Season 4 of “The Handmaid’s Tale” will be on “love.”
While apart from her… This is a condensed version of the narrative. I hope you found it entertaining.
