Friends premiered on NBC in 1994 and quickly became one of the most successful television shows of all time. The sitcom featured the lives of six pals in their twenties and thirties who lived in Manhattan, New York.
Rachel Green rushed from her wedding day to seek the advise of her childhood friend Monica Geller, a chef who lived above the Central Perk in New York City. Rachel naturally fits in with Monica’s circle of friends, which included Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing, and Ross Geller, after taking a waitress job at the coffee shop below the flat.
The group was always there for one another, solving their problems on the iconic orange couch at their favorite hangout, the Central Perk, as they dealt with everything from revolving relationships to professional challenges. Friends gained a large following base thanks to its sympathetic characters and humorous relief, which continued long after the show ended in 2004.
For Ross and Rachel, it’s ‘The Last One.’
