Bob Saget Did a ‘Favor’ for the Cast of ‘Fuller House’ Before the Show Even Started

Bob Saget, widely known for his role in Full House, reprised his role in the sequel series Fuller House. But before he ever appeared on the Netflix series, he did something nice for the rest of the group. Here’s how Saget was able to assist them.

‘Full House’ starred Bob Saget.

Saget rose to fame as one of the stars of Full House in the 1980s. He played Danny Tanner, a widowed young father of three who invites his closest buddy, Joey Gladstone, and brother-in-law, Jesse Katsopolis, to help him raise his daughters DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle.

The sitcom ran on ABC for eight seasons and was a huge hit. Saget went from being a somewhat unknown comic to a major star in a short period of time. Despite the fact that it is still the character for which he is best known, the actor has continued to work in television, most notably as the voice of elder Ted Mosby in the series How I Met Your Mother.

Saget made several appearances during the series. Danny leaves to Los Angeles for work in the pilot, but he returns for a total of ten episodes throughout the course of the Netflix series’ five-season run, spending time with his grandchildren and giving advise to his now-adult children. Fuller House aired from 2010 through 2020.

Saget provided advice to the cast and crew on a set design issue.
